The Neo 2 keeps the original Neo's hands-free palm-launch design and adds meaningful upgrades: 4K/60 video (up from 4K/30), 49 GB internal storage (more than 2× the original's 22 GB), improved AI subject tracking, and an optional digital transceiver for extended-range operation.

Slightly larger 1/2-inch CMOS sensor at 12 MP captures 4K HDR video at 60 fps — twice the smoothness of the original Neo's 4K/30. f/2.2 aperture and ~120° field of view deliver vibrant, detailed footage in good light. Dual-axis mechanical gimbal stabilises pitch and roll for clean output.

Same flagship feature as the original Neo: lift off your palm and start filming without a remote controller, smartphone, or preflight setup. Smart Capture combines gesture recognition with subject tracking — the Neo 2 follows you while you focus on doing the activity, then lands back in your palm on command.
49 GB built-in.
More than double the original Neo's 22 GB — enough for roughly 90 minutes of 4K/60 footage without an external card. Films stored on the aircraft transfer to phone via QuickTransfer over WiFi at high speed. The Fly More Combo's three-battery configuration (~57 minutes total airtime) lets you fill the storage in a single session.

GPS and GLONASS dual-system positioning gives accurate hovering and a reliable Return to Home that automatically triggers on low battery or lost signal. Foldable propeller guards make indoor flying and close-quarters work safe for the aircraft and your surroundings. ~19 minutes per battery, included DJI RC-N3 controller for traditional flight.

Is the Neo 2 DGCA-compliant for India? +
Yes. At ~151 g take-off weight (or ~160 g with the optional digital transceiver), the Neo 2 stays under 250 g and falls in DGCA's Nano category — no Digital Sky registration, no Remote ID, and no UIN needed for recreational use under DGCA Drone Rules 2021. Commercial use still requires Digital Sky registration.
Neo 2 or original Neo — is the upgrade worth it? +
The Neo 2 adds 4K/60 video (vs 4K/30), more than doubles internal storage to 49 GB (vs 22 GB), improves AI tracking, and adds the optional digital transceiver for extended-range operation. Pick the Neo 2 if any of those upgrades matter for your work. Pick the original Neo if you want the cheapest entry into hands-free palm-launch flight and 4K/30 is enough.
Neo 2 or Mini 4K — which to choose? +
These are different aircraft for different use cases. Pick the Neo 2 for hands-free palm-launch self-filming — vlogs, hiking, cycling, dance content. Pick the Mini 4K for traditional camera-drone work — landscapes, travel, real estate. The Mini 4K has longer flight time (31 vs 19 min) and longer transmission range, but doesn't do hands-free palm-launch.
