High-speed structural dominance.
Skip the tedious tinkering. The Bambu Lab P1 Series inherits the proven CoreXY kinematics and high-precision motion control systems of flagship manufacturing architectures. Pushing acceleration lines to an extreme 20,000 mm/s², it handles complex geometries at maximum speed while utilizing active vibration compensation to suppress physical resonance entirely.
Unleash up to 16 colors.
True plug-and-play scaling.
Step past monochromatic structural limitations. Connecting the optional Bambu Lab Automatic Material System (AMS) unlocks seamless execution across 4 filaments per unit, scaleable up to 16 distinct color spaces using multi-hub extensions. It coordinates automatic filament cutting, retraction, and tracking profiles, enabling complex structural support pairings (like breakaway or soluble materials) to print without error frames.
All-metal hotend core.
Precise extrusion, always.
The direct-drive extrusion core places the motor immediately over the hotend assembly, ensuring exact retractions and tight flow containment loops for flexible filaments like TPU. Its all-metal hotend handles high-temperature thresholds up to 300°C effortlessly—allowing for smooth material layering across demanding consumer composites.

Technical Specification.
Need to know.
What makes the P1S enclosure better for technical materials like ABS or ASA?+
High-temperature filaments warp or split when exposed to sudden drafts or room temperature shifts. The fully enclosed chamber of the P1S traps heat to maintain a stable ambient temperature during the print. It features an integrated Chamber Regulator Fan to balance internal temperatures and an Activated Carbon Filter to absorb structural chemical odors.
Can I print abrasive carbon-fiber filaments out of the box with a P1 machine?+
Out of the box, the P1 series utilizes a standard stainless steel dual-gear extruder and a stainless steel nozzle. Abrasive filaments like carbon-fiber or glass-reinforced materials will degrade these components relatively quickly. For consistent performance with engineering composites, we highly recommend upgrading to a Hardened Steel Nozzle and Hardened Steel Extruder Gears before starting long sessions.
How do power-loss recovery and runout tracking handle print disruptions?+
The on-board control boards protect your progress against unexpected disruptions. If filament running out is detected by the optical line switch, or if power grids experience a total blackout, the machine safely parks the hotend toolhead. Once you load a new spool or power returns, you can resume layering right from the exact coordinate marker without losing your work.
