Despite its footprint, the dual-lens system architecture gives you extreme structural versatility. The main telephoto refractor uses a 30mm aperture running at an f/5 focal ratio to provide a massive 1,016mm full-frame equivalent reach, powered by the low-noise Sony IMX662 sensor. Alongside sits a 45mm equivalent wide-angle lens for framing, sweeping star trails, and immersive constellation compositions.

Shift between an Astro filter (430-690nm) for galaxies, a Dark filter for automated noise calibration, and a highly specialized Duo-Band filter that locks onto Hα and O III emissions to slice directly through heavy urban light pollution.

The mechanical engine combines a 225° vertical lens barrel rotation with unlimited 360° pan movement. 2MP output file resolution — is it enough for printing or pro processing?+
Yes. In astrophotography, signal-to-noise ratio matters infinitely more than pixel count. The DWARF mini exports raw, uncompressed 16-bit FITS and stacked TIFF matrices. Because it uses the hyper-sensitive Sony IMX662 sensor (2.9μm large pixels), your stacked data lacks the artifact noise common to high-megapixel sensors. These raw matrices import cleanly into industry programs like Siril, PixInsight, or Photoshop to pull out pristine deep-space data frames.
Can I execute long sessions or charge it while tracking?+
Absolutely. While the built-in 7,000 mAh battery provides around 4 hours of continuous stand-alone operation, the unit fully supports smart pass-through charging via its USB-C architecture. You can connect an external battery power bank or any standard USB-C brick to drive uninterrupted all-night structural exposures while capturing deep-space objects.
Does it include a dedicated tracking tripod inside the box?+
No, the base box includes the DWARF mini telescope, an ND solar filter, a Type-C cable, and a cleaning cloth. However, the base mount platform incorporates a standard 1/4-inch photographic thread. This means it connects immediately to any standard photography tripod or tabletop mount you already own without requiring custom mechanical plates.
