The Rotunbot RT-G800 is a next-generation intelligent amphibious spherical robot designed for long-duration operations in complex terrain, extreme weather, and non-friendly environments. Built around a unique spherical contour and centroid offset drive system, Rotunbot represents a breakthrough in unmanned ground robotics, offering unmatched stability, endurance, and all-weather operational capability where conventional wheeled or legged robots fail.

Its sealed spherical design, high-speed rolling mobility, and advanced sensor fusion allow it to operate safely in rain, snow, sand, fog, extreme temperatures, and hazardous environments with minimal human risk.


Revolutionary Spherical Mobility and Drive Architecture

At the core of the Rotunbot RT-G800 is its patented spherical structure combined with pendulum-based centroid offset drive technology. Three internal motors drive a pendulum mechanism that shifts the robot’s center of mass, generating rolling torque in any direction.

This design fundamentally eliminates common failure points seen in wheeled and legged robots, such as tipping, rollover, and immobilization after impact. The robot can roll freely in all directions, recover automatically after collisions, and maintain operational continuity even in uneven or unpredictable terrain.

The rolling motion significantly reduces friction and energy loss, enabling energy efficiency 5–6 times higher than legged robots, while also delivering exceptional speed and responsiveness.

The RT-G800 is designed for extended missions and rapid response scenarios:

  • Instantaneous maximum speed of up to 35 km/h
