The whole
kit, airborne.
The M4T integrates a four-camera system — wide, medium telephoto (70mm), telephoto (168mm with up to 16x optical / 112x hybrid zoom), 640×512 thermal — plus a 1,800-metre laser rangefinder, all in a 1,219g aircraft. What previously needed an M30T or M300 with multiple gimbal swaps now fits in a Mavic-class form factor. Public safety, powerline inspection, and forestry teams get a deployable platform that fits in the back of a vehicle.
Wide. Medium.
Long. Thermal.
Four cameras share one gimbal: 1/1.3-inch 48MP wide (24mm equivalent), 1/1.3-inch 48MP medium telephoto (70mm), 1/1.5-inch 48MP telephoto (168mm with 16x optical and 112x hybrid zoom), and a 640×512 uncooled VOx thermal camera with 30Hz frame rate. Spot meter and area measurement modes. The thermal camera has a temperature range of -20°C to 550°C across high and low gain modes — sufficient for everything from electrical fault detection to early-stage fire identification.
1,800 m
distance lock.
Integrated laser rangefinder measures distance to target up to 1,800 metres at 20% reflectivity (1 Hz rate). For oblique inspection geometry (1:5 oblique distance), effective range is 600 metres. Distance accuracy is ±(0.2 + 0.0015D) — better than 0.5 m at 200 m range. Combined with the 168mm telephoto, this enables precise measurements during inspection without ground reference — essential for tower work, infrastructure assessment, and industrial measurement workflows.
49 minutes
at 1.2 kg.
49-minute flight time with standard propellers (46 minutes with low-noise propellers for noise-sensitive operations). 25 km O4 Enterprise transmission FCC. Omnidirectional binocular vision sensing with downward 3D infrared. Operating altitude 6,000 m with no payload, 4,000 m with payload. Wind resistance 12 m/s. The compact form means a single technician can deploy and operate solo — no team required for setup.
AL1. AS1.
Mission ready.
The M4T's E-Port system supports DJI's enterprise accessory line: AL1 Spotlight (32W, 4.3 lux at 100m, strobe-capable for SAR signalling), AS1 Speaker (114 dB at 1m, 300m effective broadcast range, supports text-to-speech and pre-recorded broadcasts). Both quick-release. For public safety teams, this means one airframe handles search lighting, public announcement, thermal detection, and zoom inspection without aircraft swaps mid-mission.

M4T or M30T — which to choose? +
If you're starting fresh in 2026, the M4T is the obvious choice: lighter (1.2 kg vs 3.8 kg), longer flight time (49 vs 41 minutes), longer transmission range (25 vs 15 km), better cameras (three visible focal lengths vs two), longer laser RF (1,800 vs 1,200 m), and the M30 line is now end-of-life. The M30T remains a capable platform for organisations already deployed on it, but new procurement should default to M4T.
M4T or M4E — what's the difference? +
Same airframe, different camera system. M4T has wide + 70mm + 168mm + 640×512 thermal + laser RF — built for public safety, powerline inspection, firefighting, forestry. M4E has a 4/3 CMOS 20MP wide camera with mechanical shutter + 70mm + 168mm telephotos, designed for surveying, mapping, construction, and mining. Both share flight performance specs; choose based on whether thermal imaging or photogrammetric mapping is the primary use case.
How accurate is the laser rangefinder for inspection work? +
Distance accuracy is ±(0.2 + 0.0015D) where D is the measured distance in metres. At 200 m, that's roughly ±0.5 m. At 1,000 m, ±1.7 m. For powerline inspection, structural assessment, and tower work, this is sufficient for clearance verification and component identification. Performance degrades in rain or fog. The 1m blind zone means you cannot measure objects closer than 1 m — flying close to a target works visually but the LRF data is invalid.
Is the M4T DGCA-compliant? +
The M4T takes off at 1,219 g — DGCA Small class (250 g to 2 kg). Requires Digital Sky registration with UIN, and Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) for commercial operators. Operations restricted to green and yellow zones with appropriate clearance. Sold to authorised entities per Indian regulation. Our team handles full registration and import documentation on every order.
Warranty and after-sales support +
1-year DJI manufacturer warranty on aircraft and DJI accessories. 7-day replacement on manufacturing defects. We strongly recommend DJI Care Enterprise on multi-sensor enterprise platforms — covers thermal sensor, LRF module, and crash damage. All servicing and pilot training at our in-house facility in Sector 66 Gurgaon.
