Is the Mini 3 DGCA-compliant for India? +
Yes with the standard battery — under 249 g, the Mini 3 falls in the DGCA Nano category, exempt from registration for recreational use. With the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus the take-off weight rises above 249 g and the drone moves into DGCA Micro, which requires Digital Sky registration. We assist with registration on every order.
Should I get the standard battery or Plus? +
Standard battery if you primarily fly recreationally and want to keep the drone in the registration-free DGCA Nano category. Plus if 51 minutes per charge matters for landscape, travel, or commercial work — you trade the registration exemption for nearly 50% more airtime per pack.
Mini 3 or Mini 3 Pro — what's the difference? +
Both share the 1/1.3-inch sensor and similar form factor. Mini 3 Pro adds tri-directional obstacle sensing, FocusTrack subject tracking, 4K/60 HDR (vs Mini 3's 4K/30), 48 MP photos (vs 12 MP), an f/1.7 wide aperture, and Apple ProRes support. Mini 3 keeps things simpler and cheaper. Pick the Pro for tracking and obstacle safety; pick the Mini 3 for image quality on a budget.
Standard, Fly More Combo, or Fly More Combo Plus? +
Standard ships with one battery and the RC-N1 controller. Fly More Combo adds 2 spare standard batteries, the Two-Way Charging Hub, propellers, and a shoulder bag. Fly More Combo Plus swaps the standard packs for 3× Intelligent Flight Battery Plus units (51 min each instead of 38). DJI RC variants of each substitute the screen-equipped controller.
