Does the Plus battery affect DGCA classification? +

Yes. With the standard Intelligent Flight Battery the drone weighs under 249 g (DGCA Nano — no registration needed for recreational use). With the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, take-off weight is approximately 290 g, which moves it into the DGCA Micro category — registration on the Digital Sky portal and a Unique Identification Number are required, including for recreational flying. We assist with registration and import documentation on every order.

Standard Combo or Plus — which is right for me? +

Plus makes sense if you shoot landscape, travel, or commercial work where every extra minute matters — 16 minutes more per pack adds up to nearly an hour over three batteries. The trade-off is take-off weight rises above 249 g, which means DGCA Micro registration applies. If you primarily fly recreationally and want the regulatory simplicity of the sub-250 g category, stick with the Standard Combo. The Plus batteries are also sold separately, so you can upgrade later.

Is the Mini 5 Pro waterproof? +

No. The Mini 5 Pro is not water-resistant. If rain begins during a flight, return and land as soon as possible, then dry the drone fully — inside and out — before the next flight. DJI Care Refresh covers water damage as part of accidental damage protection.

Warranty and after-sales support +

1-year DJI manufacturer warranty, 7-day replacement on manufacturing defects, and optional DJI Care Refresh + AMC for accidental damage and crash protection. All repairs at our in-house facility in Sector 66 Gurgaon.
