Just 300 g — the lightest current Osmo Mobile gimbal. Compact 179 × 95 × 39 mm folded; 278 × 107 × 93 mm unfolded. Anti-slip handle for long shoots. The trade-off vs Mobile 7P: no built-in extension rod, and the Multifunctional Module is sold separately (DJI OM 7 Series Tracking Kit).

ActiveTrack 7.0 in the DJI Mimo app. Smart Capture detects multiple subjects in frame and shows detection boxes — tap any to lock or switch tracking. Re-acquires subjects after brief occlusion. Dual Lens Boost extends tracking through 1×–8× zoom on iPhone 13 Pro and later (Pro models, iOS 16+).

Quick Launch: unfolding the gimbal turns it on. Magnetically attach the OM Phone Clamp 4 (with phone) and DJI Mimo opens automatically on iPhone (Android needs first-time pairing). After power-off, the gimbal returns to a pre-folded position for one-step storage. From bag to recording in under five seconds.

Phone charging via USB-C.
10-hour operating time stationary, with the gimbal balanced and no module attached. USB-C port on the handle outputs power to charge a connected phone — handy for live streaming, all-day shoots, and travel. Adding the optional Multifunctional Module reduces runtime to about 5 hours when tracking is active.

Mobile 7 or Mobile 7P?+
Mobile 7 if budget matters more than features — saves about ₹3,000–5,000 vs 7P street price, and you get the same 7th-gen stabilisation and ActiveTrack 7.0. Mobile 7P if you want the built-in 215 mm extension rod, the bundled Multifunctional Module, or the side wheel for cinematic zoom/focus control. Mobile 7 buyers can add the OM 7 Series Tracking Kit later if module features become useful.
Mobile 7 or Mobile 8?+
Mobile 8 (₹11,990) is meaningfully better and only slightly more expensive: 360° unlimited pan, Apple DockKit, NFC pairing, native pet tracking, larger battery. Mobile 7 (~₹6,000–8,000 street price) is the value pick if you don't need those features and want the lightest body (300 g vs 370 g). Most current buyers should go Mobile 8.
Can I add the Multifunctional Module later?+
Yes. Buy the DJI OM 7 Series Tracking Kit separately to get the Multifunctional Module and accessories. The module unlocks subject tracking outside DJI Mimo, fill light, and DJI Mic Mini reception. Roughly equivalent to upgrading to a 7P, but only if the kit price plus your Mobile 7 cost stays below the 7P bundle.
What's the magnetic clamp difference vs 7P?+
Mobile 7 ships with the DJI OM Magnetic Phone Clamp 4 — the same magnetic mount used on Mobile 6. Mobile 7P ships with the OM 7 Series Magnetic Phone Clamp, which has refined geometry for the new gimbal head. Both work with phones 67–84 mm wide and combined case thickness up to 10 mm.
Warranty and after-sales support+
1-year DJI manufacturer warranty, 7-day replacement on manufacturing defects, and optional AMC for accidental damage. All repairs at our in-house facility in Sector 66 Gurgaon.
